On Monday, January 26, Nesterly hosted its first webinar, kicking off a recurring series designed to help attendees learn more about homesharing, understand how our platform works, and connect directly with Nesterly staff.

Nesterly Customer Advocates led a short presentation about our work, and dedicated the majority of the session to live Q&A with participants. Nesterly has a small team of Advocates who directly support Hosts and Guests throughout their entire platform experience, from initial inquiry and account set up to booking their homeshare. Advocates also regularly check in with homeshare participants to address needs and help ensure successful matches.

The majority of attendees were from our newer partners in Maine, Bellingham, WA and Nashville, TN. It was meaningful to be able to connect more deeply with these regions and begin building trust between our support team and interested community members. We have already received positive feedback that the program helped attendees feel more informed and connected.

Nesterly is thrilled to provide this new, ongoing opportunity for all of our supported regions to engage directly with us, learn more about how homesharing works, and ask questions. We look forward to our next session and to meeting more folks interested in homesharing!

We’ve put together a general media toolkit that includes ready-to-use marketing materials and resources. These materials can be used as-is or customized to fit your organization or audience. In addition, we’ve included a toolkit designed specifically for partners in Nashville and Maine. Together, these resources include sample language, graphics, and outreach materials to help spread the word about Nesterly. The toolkit also contains materials to help you feel comfortable navigating the platform and understanding the program.

In partnership with JFS of Metrowest, the City of Framingham Office of Community Development and with the Framingham Council on Aging Callahan Center Nesterly is expanding its reach in Massachusetts!

Nesterly will bring its innovative model to help with housing affordability, aging in place, and social isolation to Greater Framingham.

The pilot will also feature wrap-around services from JFS of Metrowest. Dedicated JFS caseworkers will facilitate homeshare applications, provide necessary coaching before and during homeshares, coordinate/facilitate moving, and assist Guests and Hosts with ongoing access to needed services and benefits in order to ensure homeshare success.
